About The Company - Trella aims to structure and regulate the freight industry with the goal of improving efficiency and reducing waste throughout the entire supply chain. This can only be achieved through building technology to create an interconnected network of carriers and shippers. Through this technology, Trella will improve shipping routes, increase truck utilization and efficiently batch shipments. This will effectively reduce costs throughout the entire supply chain, improving carrier and shipper economics and ensure both ends of the marketplace profitably grow their businesses - creating unprecedented economic opportunities in the logistics space - while reducing environmental waste.

You get to work at the intersection of moving economies through inland and port freight and manage key marketplace stakeholders in a fast-paced environment in an effort to drive a step-change in the industry.What You'll Do:

  • Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility
  • Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies
  • Issue and post bills, receipts and invoices
  • Check the validity of debit accounts
  • Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments
  • Ensure all clients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines
  • Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients
  • Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data
  • Prepare tax documents - primarily for VAT.
  • Issue Invoices on time along with necessary documentation as per industry standards.
  • Maintain soft and hard copies of all documents.
  • Liaise with clients for collections and escalate delays to senior management.
What You'll Need:
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
  • Work Experience: 1-4 years of relevant experience
  • Nice to Have(s): Experience in dealing with complex data sets, deriving insights and checking against what you see in the real world.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on a company's success.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially bookkeeping software and MS Office.
  • High level of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company regulations.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze large amounts of data.
