our team in Bahrain as an IT Security Pre-Sales Consultant! The IT
Security Pre-Sales Consultant is responsible for providing technical
expertise and support in the pre-sales process to promote and sell IT
security solutions. This role involves collaborating with the sales
team to understand customer requirements, developing tailored security
solutions, conducting product demonstrations, and articulating the
value proposition of the company's IT security offerings. The IT
Security Pre-Sales Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to
customers, helping them navigate complex security challenges and make
informed decisions to protect their digital assets.
Task & responsibilities - Collaborate with the
sales team to identify and qualify prospective customers,
understanding their specific IT security needs and challenges. -
Conduct in-depth discussions with customers to assess their security
requirements, analyze their existing infrastructure, and determine the
most suitable IT security solutions. - Develop and deliver
compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and technical
proposals that effectively address customer needs and align with their
business objectives. - Create and present proof of concepts (POCs)
or prototypes to showcase the capabilities and benefits of IT security
solutions, ensuring they meet customer expectations. - Collaborate
with the product management and engineering teams to provide feedback
on customer requirements, market trends, and competitive landscape,
influencing the development of future product enhancements. - Stay
up to date with the latest trends, threats, and technologies in the IT
security industry, continuously expanding knowledge and expertise.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote
the company's IT security solutions and establish thought leadership.
- Support the sales team in responding to Requests for Proposals
(RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) by providing technical
expertise and contributing to the development of comprehensive and
compelling proposals. - Build and maintain strong relationships
with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal
teams, fostering trust and credibility. - Assist in the development
of sales collateral, including white papers, solution briefs, and case
studies, to support marketing and sales initiatives. Required skills & experience - Bachelor's degree
in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or
equivalent practical experience). - Min. 8-10 years of relevant
proven experience in IT security, pre-sales, or a related technical
role, preferably in a customer-facing capacity. - In-depth knowledge
of IT security principles, technologies, and best practices, including
network security, endpoint protection, data loss prevention,
encryption, vulnerability management, and identity and access
management. - Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance
standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc. - Strong presentation
and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex
technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. -
Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and translate
them into technical solutions. - Proficiency in conducting product
demonstrations and delivering compelling presentations. - Excellent
problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and understand
customer needs and propose effective solutions. - Self-motivated and
proactive with the ability to work independently as well as
collaboratively in a team environment. - Relevant certifications such
as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Cisco
CCNP Security, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE) are highly desirable.
