Investment Associate/Senior Associate – Real Estate:

Job Summary:

The Investment Associate/Senior Associate will be an integral part of our collaborative team responsible for executing new real estate opportunities in the US, UK, and Europe with a focus on co-investments, in addition to monitoring existing portfolio assets. The successful candidate will report directly to both the Managing Partner and CIO.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and lead sourcing, assessment, due diligence, and structuring of investment opportunities by identifying deal merits and risks under multiple scenarios, building financial models, cooperating with joint venture partners and working with the Fund Operations and Legal teams.
  • Lead the preparation of investment committee and investor communication memos for new and existing deals.
  • Identify market trends and assist in brainstorming new ventures and strategies.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses for existing deals and investor relations teams.
  • Continuously monitor portfolio deals, providing regular deal updates and support for exits, while maintaining our high standards of performance.
  • Foster partnerships and establish new programmatic joint ventures through effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Possess 4-8 years of proven investment experience in real estate, demonstrating a track record of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Hold a BS or Master’s degree in finance, economics, real estate, or a related field, with professional certifications such as CFA a plus.
  • Diverse transactional experience in real estate across multiple asset types (Multifamily, office, industrial, hospitality etc.), geographies (US, UK, Continental Europe) and capital structures (debt, equity, preferred equity).
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, capable of comfortably building and modifying models, running sensitivity analyses, etc.
  • Strong ability to evaluate real estate opportunities qualitatively and quantitatively.
  • Ability to communicate thoughts clearly and concisely (written and verbal) both to internal and external parties.
  • Strong work ethic, impeccable attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English. Arabic is a plus.
