Job Description The main purpose of the position is to be able to handle the installation, Modifications and maintenance of the SCADA System and PLC. He will be responsible for the overall project by heading the contract team and shall be reporting directly to the Ministry Engineer. He shall be responsible for the overall control and performance of the project.
He shall liaise with Ministry Engineer for the continuous and proper operation of SCADA system, prepare and execute routine preventive maintenance program. He shall work closely with application and system administration and agencies to coordinate activities, resolve development and maintenance issues and perform application tuning.

Key Responsibilities:
-Service, repairs, maintenance of SCADA and PLC system and associated Field instruments and Low voltage switchgear equipment at client`s premises or installation site.
-He shall do necessary programming and trouble shooting in the PLC€s, SCADA monitors and to supervise, guide the project team of electrical engineer and technicians in their activities. He shall participate in the maintenance and diagnosis of the system failures and breakdowns. He shall make on the spot decisions to solve complex problems on repair and maintenance of the equipment.
-Responsible to support Project Manager for generating revenue from maintenance and value added services.
-Responsible for maintaining all the systems under annual maintenance contracts through planned preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
-TO co-ordinate with the Clients representative on daily basis and to log the daily maintenance activities carried out.
-Able to attend to emergency call outs and repairs.
-Able to support 24 x 7 shift duty work schedule in providing maintenance of critical solutions for customers

Job Skills Knowledge
-Technically competent in SCADA programing , PLC Interface and programming (Schneider / ABB/ Siemens), trouble shooting, Modifications and the current systems
-Experience in Water and waste water treatment plants is added advantage.
-Degree in Electronic / Computer Science / Electrical or equivalent - a requirement as a minimum.

Skills
-Strong Site and customer management skills. Ability to Manage a team of technicians and monitor Maintenance schedule
-Ability to execute maintenance contracts with good understanding on the Preventive Maintenance, shutdown and breakdown procedures.
-Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in speaking and convey complex information in an easily understood format.
Experience
-4-8 yrs. of hands on experience in SCADA/ PLC systems, in engineering or Maintenance.
Special Preference to experience in National Instruments Lab view / Look out SCADA. National Instrument certification is added Advantage. About The Company
