Senior Associate:
Dept: Energy & Commodities
Reporting to: Head of Energy & Commodities
Main Activities:
- Develop and adjust pitching documents based on Senior Banker's, Senior RM's and Business Line inputs.
- Gather all relevant data from internal and external sources to develop pitching documents (Industry data, financial elements, etc).
- Can interface directly with junior client contacts to collect specific data needed for the pitch.
- Originate, coordinate and support flow business on relationships for which senior bank has primary responsibility.
- Ensure date-to-day coordination of Business Line resources:
- Gather and analyze client related data to support the commercial strategy definition.
- Support Senior Bankers and Senior RM's in client marketing by providing analysis on client activity.
Duties:
Qualitative
- Prepare client meetings with key meeting targets.
- Assist and follow-up on flow (Trade, Cash, Loan Book, Plan Vanilla FID) business. - Work on improving the quality of the annual reviews.
- Ensure effective and coordination with product teams.
Quantitative
- Ensure timely MIS reporting, preparation of pitches and credit requests.
- Prepare (agenda) and organize regular (weekly, bi-weekly etc) meetings with products teams. And subsequent follow-up.
- Initiate the Annual Reviews, including contribution of product teams and produce relationship (draft) Strategy following portfolio and client analysis.
- Ensure up-to-date client information, client 1st, etc and administer and monitor follow-up points (incl. action points identified in call reports/ correspondence). Job Category Accounting & Audit Job Requirements Experience

Job Skills Skills Requirements:- Financial Knowledge obtained by Energy, Metals & Mining Sector.
- Product experience (Fixed Income or Structured Finance).
- Minimum years of experience needed is 4 years.
- Bachelor degree in a banking & finance related major or preferably engineering.
- Arabic is a major plus.
