Job Engineer-Process Engineering
The purpose of this position is to report to the Senior Process Engineer, the incumbent shall provide process engineering assistance on “Operational Troubleshooting and Process Optimisation” along with all assigned project activities, inclusive of new project conceptualization and related ESR studies.
Education:
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in either Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering discipline from a reputed/recognized university.
Experience:
Minimum 10 (ten) years of direct experience in the Oil & Gas industry in a similar project engineering capacity within an engineering and construction environment. Previous experience of interfacing with engineering and construction contractors.

- General Skills:
- Communication skills – English (verbal and written)
- Collaboration / Team Working skills (promoting a healthy environment for effective collaboration, as well as training and developing people)
- Ability to effectively interact with management, discipline engineers, construction personnel, vendors contractors, and all other Bapco Upstream departments to facilitate flow of information.
- Must possess the ability to handle multiple assignments with a focus on meeting deadlines and with delivery of a quality project.
- Technical Skills:
- Computer skills – including desktop applications and software (Proficient)
- Process Engineering Design tools (such as HYSYS and PIPESIM) (Proficient) (Preferred)
Professional Certifications (if any): None required.
