This role requires the candidate to permanently relocate to Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Provides process engineering guidance and technical expertise to operating departments aiming to achieve safe & sustained plant performance.

1. Provides technical input in EHSS activities (e.g., MOCs, PHAs, HazOps, PSERs - PreStartup EHSS Reviews) and verifies EHSS process-related calculations.
2. Supports operating departments in achieving Sustainability KPIs.
3. Performs requested studies to assess operating plants' conditions to improve safe performance and achieve production capacity/targets through the PESR system.
4. Analyzes new technical developments in process engineering to propose improvements in the existing facilities, as well as acts as the focal point for handling process-related technical service requests (TSRs).
5. Periodically monitors critical operating parameters to assess equipment performance with respect to optimum operation and develops plant load optimization proposals when applicable.
6. Assists operating departments in process project activities (i.e., preparation of process-related design packages - CDPs, CBP reviews, and related plant process modifications).
7. Supports Operating plants in process feasibility studies, BEDD, PDP, FEED, detailed engineering execution, run test commissioning, and startup of site projects to ensure proper compliance involvement when selected in Mega projects to provide necessary technical support.
8. Participates in operating plant startups & shutdowns, as well as supports in investigations of unscheduled plant interruptions.
9. Participates in process-related Reliability Methodologies of operating plants.
10. Conducts studies of process chronic problems and provides short/long-term solution proposals.
11. Represents PETROKEMYA in licensor and other Company entities communication exchanging expertise & knowledge in resolving technical problems.

This role requires the candidate to permanently relocate to Jubail, Saudi Arabia. B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. 10 years of experience as a process engineer in the petrochemical industry, specifically at an ABS plant (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene).
