Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of sophisticated DeFi protocols and smart contracts.
- Manage and mentor a team of blockchain engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Drive the development of secure, scalable, and gas-efficient smart contracts on platforms like Ethereum using Solidity.
- Oversee the integration of blockchain solutions with existing financial systems and third-party services.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, researchers, and designers to define product vision and strategy.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all deployed smart contracts and platform infrastructure through rigorous testing and code reviews.
- Research and implement new blockchain technologies and DeFi trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Contribute to the company's technical strategy and roadmap.
- Represent the engineering team in cross-functional discussions.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent industry experience.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 5 years specializing in blockchain and smart contract development.
- Demonstrated expertise in DeFi protocols, including but not limited to AMMs, lending platforms, and yield farming.
- Expert-level proficiency in Solidity and experience with various Ethereum development tools (Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry).
- Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and security best practices.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with other Layer 1 or Layer 2 scaling solutions is a significant plus.
