About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused CRM Officer to join our Euro motors. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty by managing and optimizing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the strategy and roadmap of the assigned products/services line in alignment with the management team

Smart Network Interface Cards (Smart NICs, including DPU, IPU, etc) are getting more functionality and processing power to offload more complex and diverse workloads from the host: networking, storage and security. Simultaneously, switching and routing network equipment running proprietary network operating systems (NOS) tends to be replaced by whitebox hardware capable of running Linux-based NOS. These changes are prompted by datacenter architecture scalability and composability challenges as well as ever growing performance requirements. In the process, the industry requires a reliable, open and easy to use operating system to host these functionalities and workloads. Linux is ideally positioned as a kernel, especially with real-time extensions, and as a platform for this ecosystem. Leveraging and complementing Ubuntu, Ubuntu Core, OpenStack, Kubernetes and Juju, Canonical is creating a line of products and services that address primary challenges such as security, device management and orchestration between the Smart NIC, its host, Top of the Rack switches and gateways. This role encompasses leadership of the product and go-to-market in the Smart NIC and ToR switches sector. It requires an analytical storyteller with a strong sense of message, and understanding of the challenges of leveraging Smart NIC and ToR technologies with Linux. We prefer experienced professionals with software engineering management experience who want to become business executives and entrepreneurs to define product strategy and drive engagement. Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region. You will be expected to be located within this region.

  • Lead the product development lifecycle, reviewing the priorities and goals for your product.

The Credit Administration Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall credit administration function in Bank ABC Head Office. Responsibilities of the role:

Reporting to the Head of Head Office Credit Administration, the job holder will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist line manager to design and maintain credit administration policies and procedures in accordance with the regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage the credit documentation process, ensuring that all credit files are complete and accurate and comply with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Work closely with credit risk, business and product teams to monitor and manage credit quality and portfolio risks and advise on post credit approval matters.
  • Ensure credit files are maintained in an orderly, up-to-date, and easily retrievable manner.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders in different functions across the bank, including credit, legal, compliance, operations, and risk management, to support and enhance the credit administration function.
  • Maintain good relationships with external stakeholders, such as external auditors

Areas of Knowledge, Qualification and Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of in wholesale banking, with at least 3 years in a credit administration environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to extract, analyse, and handle large amounts of data in a timely manner
  • Good understanding of credit risk management concepts and principles
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements related to credit administration
  • Excellent PC skills, particularly MS office and ability to present information

Global System Integrators (GSI) play a crucial role in Canonical growth plans in the coming 3 years. We are hiring a Partner Sales Director to work closely with Canonical GSI partners throughout their sales cycles and across their sales organizations to facilitate Ubuntu based solutions and opportunities, as well as help GSI build long term digital transformation platforms with Ubuntu stacks and services.

Reporting to the VP Global Alliances and Channels, the Partner Sales Director will be responsible for building trusted relationships with partners, increasing Canonical market share and attach rate, evangelizing about the partnership and leading all business interactions from engineers to CxO level. They will own the strategy, the sell-to, sell-through and sell-with motions with the GSI and will animate many customer workshops, sales events, public presentations and executive engagements.

The role entails

  • Build strategic relationships with partners at levels, and stickiness with Ubuntu technology
  • Deep understanding of Linux and cloud software ecosystem, and open source selling models
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial business terms
  • Deep understanding of partner organizations and sales models, in particular with Global System Integrators
  • Work closely with marketing, sales engineering and product management to deliver on targets, objectives and provide a voice of the partner
  • Lead executive interlocks between partners and Canonical leadership team
  • Ability to travel - sometimes internationally - up to 40% of the time

As a software engineer for Identity Management products of Canonical, you will modernize and expand the capabilities of the identity management solutions we use for authentication and authorization in our products, as well as our canonical.com and ubuntu.com websites. We are hiring a Software Support Engineer to…

…work in a dynamic and exciting engineering role in Linux-based infrastructure and applications, covering all layers of the stack, including bare metal, virtualization (KVM), containerization (Docker/LXC/LXD), storage (Ceph and Linux filesystems), networking (OVS, OVN and Core networking), OpenStack, Kubernetes and the open source applications running on top of them. It will challenge you to show the breadth of your engineering skills, which will be needed to work on almost any aspect of Ubuntu and the open source applications large enterprise customers run.

This role is an opportunity for a technologist with a passion for Linux and open source to build a career with Canonical and drive success for our customers, community and the company. If you have an affinity for open source software, great communication skills, and a passion for troubleshooting and fixing issues in technology used by millions across the world, then you will enjoy working with some of the best people in the industry at Canonical.

This role deals with critical issues in the open source stack that require upstream bug fixes. Our engineers are able to work productively at any level of the stack including the kernel and in a wide range of languages, to understand and address the software issues at hand. Our group is critical to the success of our customers, partners and Ubuntu itself.

You will help with troubleshooting and driving issues to resolution with workarounds, guidance, and bug fixes to be released upstream and in Ubuntu.

Location: This is a remote role, we have teams in all time zones.

The role entails

  • Resolve complex customer problems related to Ubuntu, Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, or Kubernetes and other open source software
  • Maintain a close working relationship with Canonical's Field, Support and product engineering teams
  • Participate in upstream communities
  • Develop bug fixes, backport patches, and work with upstream for inclusion
  • Review code produced by other engineers
  • Demonstrate good judgment in technical methods and techniques
  • Prioritize work and manage your time effectively against those priorities
  • Participate in team discussions to improve processes, tools, and documentation
  • Maintain clear, technical and concise communications
  • Work from home and travel internationally up to 10% of work time for team meetings, events and conferences

What we are looking for in you

  • An exceptional academic track record
  • Background in Computer Science, STEM or similar
  • Experience with Linux and open source software
  • Experience with at least one of Python, Go, C or C++ on Linux
  • A drive to learn unfamiliar technology and deep-dive difficult issues
  • Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events

Role Summary

What’s On Your Plate?

  • Conduct business reviews for high value vendors and identify business opportunities and business relationships which result in the achievement of increased revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Maintain continuous business relationships with vendors.
  • Provide excellent service and support by regular calling in order to build strong relationships and resolve operational issues between vendors and company
  • Make sure that the menu of the vendors are up to date at all times
  • Monitor and ensure price and assortment parity
  • Optimize the vendor operation (coverage area, delivery time, prep time, etc).
  • Discuss with the store the option to invest in in-store branding by demonstrating its potential to enhance customer acquisition and increase brand recognition
  • Ensure campaigns have the highest visibility (marketing brief, banners)
  • Generate vendor coupons, promotions, and vouchers from existing vendors
  • Forecast and procure the right deals and vendors for NCR
  • Maintain accurate records of all NCR and prospecting activities including:
  • Sales calls
  • Sales expense report
  • Presentations
  • Coordinate with the vendor, if the vendor is live or active on talabat, checking and resolving the reason, such as shutdown or stopped delivery.
  • Ensure vendors have monthly sales
