Job Scope

The Account Manager is accountable for the promotion of the company products/services, through a well-defined strategy and sound partnerships with existing/potential partners. S/He works towards optimizing sales volumes and champions marketing programs.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Define and implement the strategy and roadmap of the assigned products/services line in alignment with the management team
• Lead the partners’ relations in alignment with the company’s management and strategy
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing channels/clients to expand sales in the assigned territory
• Build and maintain a solid channel/customer database, analyze data and develop metrics evaluating loyalty and new opportunities
• Specify market requirements for current and future products/services by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to existing and potential customers
• Execute and supervise the entire sales cycle from quotation to collection
• Track credit and/or payment performance, review outstanding settlements and manage resolutions accordingly
• Generate sales for the entire product/service line in terms of long-term revenue and profitability
• Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts and market development reports in line with business objectives
• Oversee the implementation of targeted programs and marketing activities, monitor progress and raise recommendations as and when necessary

Smart Network Interface Cards (Smart NICs, including DPU, IPU, etc) are getting more functionality and processing power to offload more complex and diverse workloads from the host: networking, storage and security. Simultaneously, switching and routing network equipment running proprietary network operating systems (NOS) tends to be replaced by whitebox hardware capable of running Linux-based NOS. These changes are prompted by datacenter architecture scalability and composability challenges as well as ever growing performance requirements. In the process, the industry requires a reliable, open and easy to use operating system to host these functionalities and workloads. Linux is ideally positioned as a kernel, especially with real-time extensions, and as a platform for this ecosystem. Leveraging and complementing Ubuntu, Ubuntu Core, OpenStack, Kubernetes and Juju, Canonical is creating a line of products and services that address primary challenges such as security, device management and orchestration between the Smart NIC, its host, Top of the Rack switches and gateways. This role encompasses leadership of the product and go-to-market in the Smart NIC and ToR switches sector. It requires an analytical storyteller with a strong sense of message, and understanding of the challenges of leveraging Smart NIC and ToR technologies with Linux. The Credit Administration Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall credit administration function in Bank ABC Head Office. • A minimum of 5 years of in wholesale banking, with at least 3 years in a credit administration environment.

• Good understanding of credit risk management concepts and principles

Reporting to the VP Global Alliances and Channels, the Partner Sales Director will be responsible for building trusted relationships with partners, increasing Canonical market share and attach rate, evangelizing about the partnership and leading all business interactions from engineers to CxO level. They will own the strategy, the sell-to, sell-through and sell-with motions with the GSI and will animate many customer workshops, sales events, public presentations and executive engagements.

We are hiring a Software Support Engineer to…

…work in a dynamic and exciting engineering role in Linux-based infrastructure and applications, covering all layers of the stack, including bare metal, virtualization (KVM), containerization (Docker/LXC/LXD), storage (Ceph and Linux filesystems), networking (OVS, OVN and Core networking), OpenStack, Kubernetes and the open source applications running on top of them. It will challenge you to show the breadth of your engineering skills, which will be needed to work on almost any aspect of Ubuntu and the open source applications large enterprise customers run.

This role is an opportunity for a technologist with a passion for Linux and open source to build a career with Canonical and drive success for our customers, community and the company. If you have an affinity for open source software, great communication skills, and a passion for troubleshooting and fixing issues in technology used by millions across the world, then you will enjoy working with some of the best people in the industry at Canonical.

This role deals with critical issues in the open source stack that require upstream bug fixes. Our engineers are able to work productively at any level of the stack including the kernel and in a wide range of languages, to understand and address the software issues at hand. Our group is critical to the success of our customers, partners and Ubuntu itself.

You will help with troubleshooting and driving issues to resolution with workarounds, guidance, and bug fixes to be released upstream and in Ubuntu.

Location: This is a remote role, we have teams in all time zones.

• Resolve complex customer problems related to Ubuntu, Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, or Kubernetes and other open source software
• Maintain a close working relationship with Canonical's Field, Support and product engineering teams
• Participate in upstream communities
• Develop bug fixes, backport patches, and work with upstream for inclusion
• Review code produced by other engineers
• Demonstrate good judgment in technical methods and techniques
• Prioritize work and manage your time effectively against those priorities
• Participate in team discussions to improve processes, tools, and documentation

Job Description

Role Summary

We are looking for an Online Account Manager to join our team and be part of our growth. If you’re an individual who is hungry for a new adventure, a multinational workplace is waiting for you.

What’s On Your Plate?

• Conduct business reviews for high value vendors and identify business opportunities and business relationships which result in the achievement of increased revenue, profitability, and market share.
• Maintain continuous business relationships with vendors.
• Provide excellent service and support by regular calling in order to build strong relationships and resolve operational issues between vendors and company
• Make sure that the menu of the vendors are up to date at all times
• Monitor and ensure price and assortment parity
• Optimize the vendor operation (coverage area, delivery time, prep time, etc).
• Discuss with the store the option to invest in in-store branding by demonstrating its potential to enhance customer acquisition and increase brand recognition
• Ensure campaigns have the highest visibility (marketing brief, banners)
• Generate vendor coupons, promotions, and vouchers from existing vendors
• Forecast and procure the right deals and vendors for NCR
• Maintain accurate records of all NCR and prospecting activities including:
• Sales calls
• Sales expense report
• Presentations
• Coordinate with the vendor, if the vendor is live or active on talabat, checking and resolving the reason, such as shutdown or stopped delivery.
• Ensure vendors have monthly sales
  
  

• Bachelor’s Degree within Business Administration or any other related field
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience within Sales
• Negotiation Skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and Flexibility
• Communication skills (Written and Verbal)
• Strong analytical skills
• Excel Skills
