- Developing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education best practices and developmental frameworks.
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social-emotional growth.
- Observing and assessing children's progress, documenting learning experiences, and providing regular feedback to parents.
- Managing classroom resources, ensuring a well-organized and stimulating learning space.
- Collaborating with fellow educators, assistant teachers, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and high-quality educational experience.
- Communicating effectively and building positive relationships with parents and guardians, involving them in their child's learning journey.
- Mentoring and providing guidance to assistant teachers and early childhood assistants.
- Participating in professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest trends and research in early childhood education.
- Contributing to the centre's continuous improvement initiatives and policy development.
- Organizing and leading special events and parent-teacher interactions.
- A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field (e.g., Diploma, Bachelor's degree).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with young children (ages 2-6).
- A deep understanding of child development theories and practical application in a classroom setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
- Proficiency in observational assessment techniques.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A genuine love for children and a commitment to their well-being and education.
