The Community Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies, organizing community events, and building strong relationships with stakeholders to promote social welfare programs. We are looking for an empathetic individual with excellent communication skills and a deep commitment to community development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive community outreach strategies to engage diverse segments of the population.
  • Organize and facilitate community meetings, workshops, and events to gather feedback and promote organizational programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local organizations, schools, and governmental agencies.
  • Identify and assess community needs, challenges, and resources to inform program development.
  • Disseminate information about available social care services, educational programs, and support initiatives.
  • Recruit and train community volunteers to support various outreach activities.
  • Represent the organization at external events, conferences, and public forums.
  • Prepare outreach materials, including flyers, brochures, and digital content.
  • Track and report on outreach activities, participation rates, and program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with program managers to ensure outreach efforts align with overall organizational goals.
  • Provide direct support and referrals to individuals and families seeking assistance.
  • Advocate for community needs and contribute to policy discussions relevant to social welfare.
  • Manage basic administrative tasks related to outreach efforts.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in community outreach, social services, or a similar role, preferably within a non-profit setting.
  • Strong understanding of community dynamics and social issues in Bahrain.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills in English and Arabic.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse community members.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to plan and execute events.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, for community events.
  • Valid Bahraini driving license.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with volunteer management.
  • Knowledge of local government and community resources.
