VAM Systems is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company. VAM Systems is currently looking for a Business Analyst for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:

Skills & Qualifications
  1. Arabic speaker
  2. Bachelor Degree preferably Engineering background
  3. 3-5 years of experience in similar projects
  4. Experience in government sector
  5. Experience in requirements analysis tools and techniques (Business process reengineering, detail use cases, simple to complex data model, prototypes, etc.)
  6. Can manage and coordinate the work and priorities of a team of BAs
  7. Advise on the use of requirements analysis tools
Roles & Responsibilities
  1. To analyze and synthesize information provided by customers who will interact with the business.
  2. To develop and document a detailed understanding of user workflow and elicit business requirements.
  3. To recommend appropriate technical or business solutions to the project team to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  4. To conduct demo sessions for users, generate user guides and training manuals, and deliver training sessions as required.
  5. To validate that the solution has met the customer needs.
  6. To work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of multiple factors.
  7. To own and maintain the user stories and requirements log in JIRA or any other tool.
  8. To work with project manager, development, and QA to help plan and define sprints to deliver the prioritized requirements.
  9. Gather requirements for process or system improvement.
  10. Plan how the requirements will be approached, traced, and prioritized.
  11. Determine which steps can and should be automated or improved for maximum benefit.
  12. Document the requirements of the system, both at a high level and in more detail.
  13. Prepare the system use cases and design screens.
  14. Provide inputs to development to scope and build prototype/proof of concept solutions and involve the users to obtain feedback.
  15. Act as a contact point, or translator between technical teams and business users to ensure process/system changes will integrate effectively into the overall business process.
  16. Assistance with testing, implementation, and training.

Joining time frame: (15 – 30 days)

The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems – Bahrain and shall be deputed to one of the Organizations in Bahrain.

VAM Systems is currently looking for an IT PMO for our Bahrain operations with the following skill sets and terms & conditions:

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is required.
  2. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience establishing and delivering complex IT projects.
  3. Professional project management certification is a plus (e.g. PMP, prince2).
  4. Deep understanding and technical expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools.
  5. Strong planning, organizational, technical, and leadership skills, including the ability to mobilize and motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace, and execute with limited information and ambiguity.
  6. Comfortable managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives.
  8. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision.
  9. Experience establishing and maintaining a high level of stakeholder/client trust and confidence.
  10. Previous relevant experience in the GCC.
Primary Role:

Support the TID in establishing and running a Project Management Office in charge of overseeing the IT implementation and maintenance of the Invoicing project.

Job Description:
  1. Create and manage project(s) work plans and updates as needed to meet changing project needs, timeline, deliverables and/or requirements.
  2. Ensure transparent communication and daily/weekly reporting of project progress.
  3. Identify and escalate issues through defined project governance.
  4. Coordinate engagement reviews and quality assurance processes, including review of documentation deliverables prior to delivery.
  5. Ensure project deliverables are whole and forwarded to all appropriate stakeholders, and stored appropriately.
Joining Time Frame:

2 weeks (maximum 1 month)

Academic Qualification

Master’s Degree (Finance)

Professional Qualification

CA / CPA / ACCA

Experience

5-7 years of experience in MIS preferably with a Banking background

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare MIS reports as per standard reporting formats with detailed breakdown of actual results of the period with comparison to budget and previous periods.
  2. Perform analysis of variances of current period vs. Budget and actual giving detailed breakdown of the variance by line and explanations vs. actual and budget.
  3. Prepare Yield, Cost of Fund and Net Financing Margin reports at a product, business unit and entity level reconciled to the reported financial statements.
  4. Prepare detailed schedules for key P&L and Balance Sheet lines for actual, budget and previous period numbers.
  5. Perform detailed analysis on variances vs. actual and budget on key P&L and Balance Sheet lines to explain the variance at a business unit, product and entity level.
  6. Analyse Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) charges & credits at a product and business unit level for arriving at product and business level profitability.
  7. Prepare detailed analysis of operating expenses by department and business unit and perform comparisons vs. budget and previous period.
  8. Prepare ALCO / GALCO and Business unit reporting packs for circulation to the business heads and different committees.
  9. Support team members on ad-hoc activities and other requirements as necessary.
  10. Investigate finance related core system issues and perform other ad hoc financial analysis.
