- Manages the food & beverage team fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department.
- Responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained.

- Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Delivers effective programmes that advance service standards, profitability and cost control.

- Proven experience in food & beverage service with excellent problem-solving capabilities.

About The Job
An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader role to join the Food & Beverage Team at Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Resort.
The main purpose of this position is to oversee the effective execution of the service.
Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role
- Develop and maintain an elegantly appointed environment, with superior colleagues, dedicated to an attentive, distinctive experience for all dining periods.
- Assist in training, supervising and disciplining all outlet colleagues.
- Maintain a friendly yet unobtrusive manner with all guests.
- Possess a management ability that ensures a successful handling of the outlets.
- Control reservations and seating of the outlet.
- Ensure the correct and consistent service techniques for various meal periods will be demonstrated by all colleagues.
- Anticipate, in advance, all materials and supplies and assure their availability.
- Control usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment.
- Observe daily conditions of all physical facilities and equipment in the outlets; makes recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
- Assist in preparing staff schedules, which allow for appropriate service while controlling overtime.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all colleagues within the outlet.
- Understand all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service.
- Maintain a daily log for communication between colleagues.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Hotel School Degree or diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 4 years Food and Beverage experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a 5-star property
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.

Wyndham Garden Manama is looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join their team!
· Assists with staff hiring, supervision, scheduling, training and development
· Ensures all relevant policies and employment practices are followed in banquet and F&B departments
· Assists with purchasing produce, meats, poultry, fish and seafood, supplies, beverages, and equipment
· Assists in receiving and checking all F&B orders to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications
· Helps supervise inventories
· Helps supervise the cleaning and maintenance of F&B facilities and equipment
· Assists in investigating and resolving any food quality or service complaints
· Regularly inspects all F&B outlets and storage areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are met
· Assists in monitoring F&B budgets and controlling labor and food/beverage costs
· Stays informed of and communicate special requests or last-minute changes that will affect either the food production or service for an event
· Maintains knowledge of local competition and general industry trends
· Be knowledgeable about the duties and responsibilities of all F&B positions; be able to fill in wherever and whenever needed
· Solicits feedback from customers on a regular basis
· Conducts daily briefings for the F&B department
· Supervises the restaurant floor during peak times to ensure guest satisfaction and staff support
· Other responsibilities or projects as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager

- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance guest dining experiences and maximize profitability.

- Create and execute enticing menus that reflect current culinary trends and cater to diverse clientele.

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a senior Food and Beverage management role, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine-dining environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple outlets and diverse teams.
- Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Excellent culinary knowledge and menu development skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in F&B management software and POS systems.
- Creative thinker with a passion for delivering unique F&B experiences.
