Overview

Amana Healthcare, brought to you by M42 and Mumtalakat, is pleased to announce the first Amana Healthcare facility in Bahrain, located in Al Jasra will open in late 2025. This world-class hospital will provide long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation services.

Amana Healthcare provides long-term care for adult patients with complex medical needs in an inpatient setting. Multidisciplinary care will be provided though intensive care unit (ICU) physicians, geriatricians, nurses, therapists, and a patient & family experience team who work collaboratively to enhance the quality of life for those patients. It also offers specialized rehabilitation for individuals who require inpatient rehabilitation following a life-altering event, such as stroke, brain injury, spine injury, joint replacement, or amputation.

Job Summary:

We’re hiring compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to support nursing and medical teams in delivering top-quality patient care. You’ll be hands-on with daily patient needs, a key player in maintaining safety and comfort, and a trusted support system for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily activities: bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Measure and record vital signs (e.g. temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
  • Support nurses in basic wound care, hygiene procedures, and medication rounds (non-administrative).
  • Assist with patient positioning, turning, and transportation within the facility.
  • Keep patient rooms and clinical areas clean, safe, and well-stocked.
  • Maintain accurate patient care records and update relevant forms.
  • Provide emotional support and build positive rapport with patients and their families.
  • Report any concerns about a patient’s condition to the nurse-in-charge immediately.
  • Help during emergencies by preparing equipment or assisting during CPR, if trained.
  • Follow infection control protocols and health & safety guidelines to the letter.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory).
  • Healthcare Assistant Certificate or NVQ Level 2/3 (preferred).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting.
  • Basic understanding of medical terms and patient care techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit and able to handle lifting and mobility support tasks.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and respectful of privacy and dignity.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if needed.

Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant - Healthcare to join our dynamic team in Bahrain. The role involves managing the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, and placing healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will also engage in business development, fostering relationships with hospitals and clinics across the GCC.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment :
    • Develop and execute recruitment strategies.
    • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.
    • Focus on roles such as:
      • Nursing
      • Physicians (Consultants, Specialists)
      • Allied Health Professionals
      • Administrative Staff
      • Managers (Non-C-Level)
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of their staffing needs.
  • Conduct consultations to define role requirements and candidate profiles.
  • Business Development :
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare sector.
    • Conduct market research to tailor recruitment solutions for prospective clients.
    • Build and maintain a strong network to drive business growth.
  • Talent Sourcing :
    • Use a range of sourcing methods (online platforms, social media, networking) to attract candidates.
    • Maintain a pipeline of healthcare talent for ongoing and future recruitment needs.
  • Candidate Screening and Evaluation :
    • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate qualifications and cultural fit.
    • Administer skills tests and perform reference checks.
  • Offer Management :
    • Handle the offer process, including salary negotiations.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout.
  • Market Research :
    • Stay updated on healthcare trends and recruitment best practices.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to clients based on market conditions.
  • Reporting and Metrics :
    • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and track key performance indicators.
    • Provide regular reports on recruitment outcomes and progress.
  • Participate in training to improve recruitment skills.
  • Contribute to developing recruitment strategies for greater efficiency.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a healthcare recruiter, preferably in the MENA region.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare roles and industry requirements.
  • Familiarity with GCC healthcare regulations, including NHRA, DOH, and other regional compliance standards.
  • Experience in business development and client relationship management.
  • Proficiency in ATS and CRM software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for senior and specialist healthcare roles (e.g., Doctors, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, Hospital Management).
