Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our multidisciplinary team. The OT will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs to support children and young adults in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills necessary for daily functioning and participation in school and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to identify sensory, motor, and functional skill needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy programs.
  • Work collaboratively with special educators, speech therapists, behavior analysts, and parents to support holistic development.
  • Design and adapt classroom and therapy environments to meet students’ sensory and physical needs.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff and families on sensory regulation, handwriting, and functional skills.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and case discussions.
  • Support vocational and life skills programs for older students.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
  • Current license or eligibility for licensing in Bahrain (NHRA registration preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of sensory integration, fine motor development, and adaptive behavior techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to inclusive education and therapeutic care.

Assist the Head - Health & Safety and Manager - Health and Safety in developing, maintaining implementing, and improving health and safety processes and procedures.

Perform audits and inspections on various stakeholders, contractors and BAC facilities to ensure the safety of all passengers, staff and airport users.

Issue reports on any non-conformities to the concerned party along with rectification recommendations.

Perform follow up inspections to close any outstanding points.

Maintain a knowledge of relevant and up to date laws and legislation to ensure that BIA follows and implements the best industry standards and practices within Bahrain and relevant external accrediting bodies.

Provide training as necessary to staff and management on any matters related to Health and Safety such as First-Aid, Confined Space, Rigging and Lifting, etc.

Perform investigations in relation to any accidents, incidents or any reported near misses and determine the root cause and provide expert opinion and recommendations on how to prevent any further instances.

Prepare policies and procedures for Health & Safety related matters to ensure that all activities are performed safely.

Manage any H&S projects and ensure completion successfully.

Perform Ad-hoc tasks as requested.

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutrition therapy and counseling to patients with various health conditions. Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Case Manager to oversee and coordinate patient care within our Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. The Case Manager will play a key role in developing personalized care plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring a continuum of care that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of long-term residents. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external service providers to optimize outcomes and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage individualized care plans for residents based on comprehensive assessments and clinical goals.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' medical, functional, and psychosocial status.
  • Serve as a liaison between residents, families, physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and community services.
  • Ensure care plans are implemented effectively and adjusted as residents’ conditions evolve.
  • Advocate for residents' rights, preferences, and best interests throughout the care continuum.
  • Facilitate timely transitions between care levels (e.g., hospital admissions, home care, palliative services).
  • Monitor compliance with NHRA guidelines, quality standards, and facility policies.
  • Support discharge planning and post-discharge follow-up when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in resident records and case management systems.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Social Work, or a related healthcare field (Master’s preferred).
  • Current license from the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) in Bahrain (if applicable).
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a case management or long-term care setting.
  • Certification in Case Management (CCM or equivalent) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of geriatric care, rehabilitation, chronic disease management, and end-of-life care.
