We are looking for a Kitchen Porter who has preferably worked within a restaurant environment previously. Main duties of this role include:
Ensure that all crockery, utensils, pans and cutlery are cleaned thoroughly and stored safely in the correct areas of the kitchen and still room.
Monitor the flooring and surfaces, cleaning up any excess spillages and debris to help avoid any possible hazards.
Clean and mop floors using designated cleaning chemicals and ensuring all safety signage is evident to staff and public where applicable.
Monitor and empty refuse bins once full throughout the shift. Ensure the bin store is clean and tidy and ensure bins and compressed and locked and left out for collection on the designated times
