Knowledge:
- Evidence of up to date knowledge of the Cambridge/British Curriculum.

Skills and Abilities:
- Commitment to curriculum continuity between the phases.
- Commitment to continuously updating and maintaining planning.
- Meticulous record keeping of assessment and intervention strategies.

- Ability to collaborate and work in a team.
Experience:
- At least two year’s teaching IGCSE.
- Evidence of previous successful teaching or of successful teaching placements.
- Evidence of good personal relationships/team player.
- Evidence of experience of working with students who have challenges, both learning and behaviour.
Educational:
- Qualified teacher with a Bachelors degree in Education.
- Attested/Apostilled qualifications from the country in which you obtained the degree.
- Evidence of involvement in continuing professional development (CPD) activities.
Special Requirements:
Excellent and unequivocal references.
Applicant’s compliance to supporting and upholding the school’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.

British Columbia-certified teachers working with Bahraini-certified teachers for Social Studies and Citizenship, Moral Studies, and Arabic Language will teach this integrated educational program.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education
- Teachers must be eligible to apply and meet the requirements for a British Columbia Teaching Certificate (Applications from Canadian provinces welcome)
- Have a British Columbia teaching certificate or a teaching certificate from another Canadian province or have a teaching certificate from a foreign English-speaking jurisdiction and meet the requirements of the British Columbia Teachers Regulation Branch (5-year undergraduate degree taken in English and a teaching certificate)
- Energetic, creative, and have the fortitude to meet the challenges of a quickly growing school
- Understand a personalized approach to learning and assessment
- Have training or understanding of the inquiry approach to teaching and learning
- Well-versed in classroom teaching with integrated learning methods (as opposed to subject teaching)
- Well-versed in 21st-century teaching and learning
