Job Description
Our client, a dynamic and growing organization, is seeking a highly competent Senior Accountant to enhance their finance department. This role is based in Zallaq, Southern, BH , with a hybrid work model offering flexibility. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in financial reporting, general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and financial analysis. Responsibilities include preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP). You will be involved in detailed financial analysis, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Managing the month-end and year-end closing procedures, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the integrity of financial data are key aspects of this position. This role also involves coordinating with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and implementing improvements to accounting processes and internal controls. Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar) are essential. We are looking for a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, coupled with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) and a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, is required. Experience in financial analysis and reporting is crucial. The role requires occasional presence at our Zallaq, Southern, BH office.

- Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
