Qualifications

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required.

    • Must have and maintain a current Serve-Safe certification (Within 3 years).
    • Must have a current, valid U. S. Passport and U. S. or Local Driver’s License and able to drive a standard transmission vehicle.
    • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of one (1) year of related work in food service with progressive supervisory experience.
  • Skills:
    • All Contractor personnel shall complete Food Service Sanitation and Safety training requirements per Section 2-1.2.2.C, Chapter 1 of NAVMED P-5010.

  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and fostering a welcoming ambiance.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, goals, and address concerns.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, licensing, and supplier management.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 2-3 years in a similar fine-dining or high-volume establishment.
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and cost management.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in restaurant POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L statements.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering an outstanding dining experience.
