This role is pivotal in the design and development of robust electrical systems for a variety of industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for creating detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, power distribution designs, and control system logic. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, significant experience in power system design using industry-standard software like AutoCAD Electrical and ETAP, and a strong understanding of electrical codes and standards. You will also lead design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the successful execution of electrical design packages from concept to completion.

- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short-circuit studies using specialized software (e.g., ETAP, SKM).
- Select and specify electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, motors, cables, and control devices.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant national and international electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, structural) to ensure integrated project design.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior electrical engineers.
- Develop and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and technical specifications for electrical materials and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical design issues and provide solutions during project execution.
- Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering technology and design methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in electrical design, with a specialization in power systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP) and power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, SKM).
- Strong understanding of power generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Experience with renewable energy systems or industrial automation is desirable.
