  • Analyze well test data, production history, and geological information to characterize reservoir properties and performance.
  • Conduct decline curve analysis and material balance calculations to forecast future production.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods and strategies.
  • Develop and optimize field development plans, including well placement and production strategies.
  • Perform economic evaluations of proposed development projects and investment opportunities.
  • Assess reservoir risks and uncertainties, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with geoscientists, production engineers, and management to align reservoir strategies with overall project goals.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor reservoir performance, identify operational issues, and propose solutions to optimize production.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in reservoir engineering technologies and techniques.
  • Contribute to the development of reservoir management best practices.
  • Mentor junior reservoir engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven experience with reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Tempest, CMG).
  • Strong understanding of reservoir characterization, fluid flow, and EOR techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with the geological setting and production characteristics of the Nuwaidrat, Southern, BH region is a plus.
  • Knowledge of economic evaluation techniques and project finance is desirable.
