Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect telecommunications networks, including voice, data, and wireless systems.
- Oversee the implementation and configuration of telecom equipment and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in existing telecommunication systems.
- Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning for network upgrades.
- Develop technical specifications and project documentation.
- Evaluate and recommend new telecommunications technologies and solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers in telecommunications projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in telecommunications engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of VoIP, mobile communication (LTE, 5G), fiber optics, and related protocols.
- Experience with network design tools and simulation software.
