Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Auto Mechanic to join the team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles , with a focus on engine work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including engine work
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with vehicles
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with safety procedures


Requirements

  • Experience working as an auto mechanic, preferably in a GCC country
  • Knowledge of engine work and repair
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with vehicles
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician, with at least 3 years focused specifically on electric or hybrid vehicles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing EV powertrains, high-voltage systems, battery management systems (BMS), and charging systems.
  • Proficiency with EV diagnostic tools, software platforms (e.g., CANalyzer, Vector tools), and data logging.
  • Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, control modules, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN).
  • Experience with remote diagnostic support or telematics is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with rapidly evolving EV technology.
