Main Accountabilities
The Waste Water Process & Network Engineer is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of wastewater collection, transmission, treatment, and the redistribution of treated sewage effluent (TSE) for irrigation purposes.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the efficient and continuous operation of the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), including pumping stations and associated collection and transmission networks. The engineer will monitor and optimize process parameters and key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain compliance, system reliability, and operational excellence.
Additionally, the Process Engineer manages all process-related activities within the WWTP, including internal laboratory operations, coordination with external testing facilities, and quality assurance of incoming treatment chemicals to ensure consistent process performance and water quality standards.
