Our client, a premier healthcare facility, is seeking a dedicated Senior Environmental Services Technician with expertise in Infection Control to join their vital team in **Nuwaidrat, Southern, BH**. This role is critical in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and infection prevention throughout the facility, ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

- Developing and delivering training programs for environmental services staff on proper cleaning techniques, disinfection procedures, and infection control practices.
- Conducting regular inspections of all areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and infection prevention standards.
- Managing the inventory and proper usage of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
- Responding promptly to spills and biohazard situations, ensuring safe and effective cleanup.
- Collaborating with the infection control department to identify and address potential risks.
- Maintaining detailed records of cleaning schedules, inspections, training, and supply usage.
- Staying updated on the latest advancements in cleaning technologies and infection control methodologies.
- Ensuring all waste is handled and disposed of in accordance with safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. A certification in Infection Control or Environmental Services is highly preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental services, custodial services, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role, is required. Proven experience in infection control practices, particularly in healthcare settings, is essential. Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation techniques is mandatory. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow procedures meticulously are vital. Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for training and coordinating with staff. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, often under demanding conditions, is important. Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring manual labor are also required.
