Role Overview

This professional will lead and mentor the Market Place (MP) training team, acting as the critical link between Product Development and Operations to achieve excellence in food quality and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and develop training content: Create, maintain, and continually improve all operational and New Product Development (NPD) training documentation (including SOPs, job aids, recipes, and training modules) for use across all CPUs.
  • Annual training calendar: Create, maintain, and implement the annual training calendar based on the NPD launch schedule and identified operational needs.
  • Curriculum management: Oversee the implementation and standardization of all training across each CPU, ensuring consistent delivery, content fidelity, and effective knowledge transfer.
  • Trainer development: Lead, mentor, and train the MP trainers on best-in-class instructional design, delivery techniques, Calo standards, food philosophy, auditing protocols, and effective coaching practices.
  • Auditing and assessment: Develop and manage all auditing checklists, scoring rubrics, and action plan templates for CPUs and trainers.
  • Compliance oversight: Oversee and ensure auditing compliance within each CPU by leading the training team in the execution of audits and tracking the follow-up on all action plans. Publish consolidated results on a monthly basis.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in Training and Development, with at least 3 years in a Training Management/Leadership role.

  • Design Implementation & Infrastructure Readiness
    • Guarantee that design standards, UX expectations, and business-led journeys are properly applied and executed in delivered products.
    • Coordinate with the technology team to ensure the right hosting environments, APIs, integrations, and security controls are in place.
    • Validate infrastructure scalability, performance, and redundancy prior to launch.
  • Go-Live Management & Stabilization
    • Coordinate UAT, QA testing, and launch readiness with business and development teams.
    • Oversee go-live procedures and ensure knowledge transfer to the Digital Services team or business owner.
    • When needed, assume interim product ownership—monitoring usage, collecting feedback, prioritizing enhancements, and supporting initial post-launch improvements until handover.
  • Stakeholder & Risk Management
    • Conduct regular project reviews, report on risks/issues, and drive resolution plans with relevant teams.
    • Ensure business and technical stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Maintain proper documentation, delivery artifacts, and issue tracking logs.
  • Continuous Improvement & Future-readiness
    • Promote best practices in digital delivery, agile collaboration, and product lifecycle management.
    • Recommend improvements based on analytics, user feedback, and performance monitoring.
    • Ensure solutions are designed to be scalable, secure, and adaptable to future business or technical needs.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in application development or digital solution implementation.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on involvement in digital transformation projects.
  • Proven experience with mobile platforms (iOS or Android) and/or eCommerce solutions.
  • Experience contributing to enterprise digital strategy and aligning it with business architecture.
  • Strong background in Design Thinking and stakeholder collaboration to shape digital strategies.
  • Skilled in designing future-state business capabilities, roles, processes, and systems.
  • Ability to translate business priorities into actionable roadmaps and drive execution.
  • Experienced in facilitating workshops with executives and cross-functional teams to align on outcomes.
  • Business-first approach to process design, with technology selection based on clarified needs.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of mobile app and eCommerce architecture, design patterns, and user experience principles.
  • Familiarity with cross-platform development tools such as React Native, Flutter, Angular, and Drupal.
  • Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies, with hands-on experience supporting iterative development cycles.
  • Proven ability to manage and implement successful digital projects in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and support performance improvement efforts.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to present and articulate concepts and technical information to both technical and executive-level audiences.
  • Good understanding of security best practices, hosting requirements, and infrastructure considerations such as scalability, redundancy, and performance.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and containerized environments (e.g., Docker).
  • Proficient in using project collaboration and version control tools (e.g., Git, Jira, Confluence).
  • Knowledge of RESTful API concepts, microservices architecture, and modern software delivery practices.
