- Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to perform maintenance tasks accurately.
- Replace or repair defective parts and components following established procedures.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are logged accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct functional checks and test runs of aircraft systems post-maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or potential safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Participate in on-call duties and work extended hours or weekends as operational needs dictate.
- Stay current with aviation regulations, technical updates, and company policies.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Perform structural repairs and modifications as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical certification or A&P license from an accredited institution is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an aircraft maintenance technician.
- Proven experience with various aircraft types and their associated systems.
- Strong knowledge of aviation maintenance principles, regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA), and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Skilled in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including climbing, kneeling, and lifting.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
