Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, validation, and implementation of bio-analytical methods for small molecules, peptides, proteins, and other biologics in biological matrices (plasma, serum, urine, etc.).
- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation, including LC-MS/MS, HPLC, GC, and immunoassay platforms.
- Design and execute complex experiments, analyze data, and interpret results with a high degree of scientific rigor.
- Troubleshoot and optimize analytical methods to ensure accuracy, precision, sensitivity, and robustness.
- Write comprehensive study protocols, reports, and regulatory submission documents.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in bio-analytical chemistry and related fields.
- Mentor and guide a team of research associates and junior scientists, fostering a collaborative and productive research environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including drug discovery, pharmacology, and toxicology departments.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the bio-analytical group and participate in scientific presentations and publications.
- Ensure compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) regulations and internal quality standards.
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of post-doctoral research experience in bio-analytical chemistry, with a significant portion in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Extensive hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS is essential; experience with other analytical techniques (HPLC, ELISA, etc.) is a strong asset.
- Proven track record of developing and validating bio-analytical assays for PK/TK studies.
- Expertise in data analysis software (e.g., Watson, Analyst, Phoenix WinNonlin) and LIMS.
- Strong understanding of biopharmaceutical development and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent scientific judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
