You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and closure of civil engineering projects, including highways, bridges, utilities, and site development. Main Tasks & Duties- Sets up, maintains, and organizes student laboratories
- Assists students with setting up experiments and other learning exercises, and with the use of civil engineering equipment and materials
- Maintains appropriate safety and hygiene standards
- Maintains required documentation related to laboratory activities and experiments
- Manages equipment and materials inventories specific to civil engineering labs
- Maintains laboratory supplies – laboratory equipment, including testing equipment, concrete materials, and soil
- Determines equipment and material requirements, prepares purchase specifications, and coordinates acquisitions
- Applies principles of materials science, environmental engineering, and structural analysis relevant to civil engineering
