Our client, a leading aviation services provider, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Aviation Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team in Jidhafs, Capital, BH . This role is critical to ensuring the airworthiness and operational readiness of our fleet. Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various aircraft types, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft components and structures, identifying any defects or wear.
  • Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Document all maintenance activities accurately and comprehensively in the aircraft logbooks and maintenance records system.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering, quality assurance, and other maintenance personnel.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required to address emergent maintenance needs.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in aviation technology and maintenance practices.

Qualifications:
  • A valid Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) or equivalent certification (e.g., EASA Part-66, FAA A&P).
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing complex aircraft systems (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics, landing gear, engines, avionics).
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations (e.g., GACA, EASA, FAA).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

The incumbent is responsible to service, troubleshoot, repair and inspect aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS MAY BE IDENTIFIED BY THE ORGANIZATION AND LISTED AS SUCH IN THE INCUMBENT'S PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL ELEMENTS. VARIOUS TASKS MAY BE ASSIGNED UNDER EACH ESSENTIAL FUNCTION. 1. Maintenance of Aircraft
**EXAMPLES OF WORK**
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED IN THIS CLASSIFICATION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING TASKS. THESE TASKS MAY BE AMENDED OR OTHER TASKS MAY BE ASSIGNED AS NECESSARY.
+ Inspects and certifies aircraft at specific intervals as required by OEM and FAA.
+ Troubleshoots system malfunctions, perform necessary corrective actions.
+ Documents maintenance of aircraft on appropriate forms.
+ Removes and replaces defective components.
+ Complies with Service Bulletins, Instructions, and Airworthiness Directives as directed.
+ Performs maintenance on Ground Support equipment.
+ Performs preflight/post-flight turn around inspections and servicing when required.
+ Maintains aircraft logbooks and historical data as required.
+ Complies with safety, foreign object damage, and tool control program requirements.
+ Washes, waxes, clean and maintains exterior and interior of aircraft.
+ Serves as a point of contact with the Quality Assurance Representative.
+ Advises management of problems that may delay scheduled delivery of aircraft to customers.
+ Ensures materials issued for assigned tasks are the correct items to repair the problem.
+ Provides on-the-job training to new employees as required.
+ Assists with supervision and inspects maintenance performed by FAA certified and non-certified personnel.
+ Services oxygen, nitrogen, tires, oil, and hydraulic systems.
+ Performs Corrosion Control checks when required.
+ Greets visitors and clients.
+ Exhibits positive courteous behavior with customers businesses and coworkers.
+ Assists coworkers and those in other departments to successfully perform job tasks and functions when necessary.
+ Follows all safety procedures and practices as established by the Company and regulatory bodies.
+ This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
**INCUMBENT PERFORMS OTHER JOB-RELATED TASKS AS ASSIGNED AND REQUIRED; ANY DUTIES/TASKS INCLUDED IN THE EMPLOYEE'S PERFORMANCE EVALUATION ELEMENTS ARE ESSENTIAL TO THAT EMPLOYEE'S POSITION WITHIN THE JOB CLASSIFICATION.**
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
The following minimum qualifications have been identified by subject matter experts (SME'S) who have supervised this position or functioned in the position; they are based on job analysis information supplied by these SME'S. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:**

A & P License
Sufficient aviation maintenance hand tools to perform routine Airframe and Powerplant duties
