Our client, an innovative studio specializing in interactive entertainment and digital experiences, is seeking a highly creative and accomplished Lead Music Composer to contribute to projects based in or associated with **Nuwaidrat, Southern, BH**. This role involves conceptualizing, composing, and producing original musical scores that enhance player immersion and emotional engagement in video games, virtual reality experiences, and other interactive media. You will be responsible for leading the music creation process, collaborating closely with game designers, narrative teams, and sound directors to align the musical direction with the overall artistic vision and gameplay mechanics. Key responsibilities include developing leitmotifs, character themes, atmospheric soundscapes, and adaptive music systems that respond dynamically to in-game events. The Lead Music Composer will also manage external composers and contractors, ensuring quality control and adherence to project deadlines. A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of musical styles and experience in composing for interactive media is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Music Composition, Audio Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. At least 7 years of professional experience as a composer, with a significant portion focused on interactive media, is required. Proficiency in Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Cubase, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, or Ableton Live, along with experience with game audio middleware like Wwise or FMOD, is mandatory. Excellent understanding of music theory, orchestration, synthesis, and sound design principles is crucial. Strong creative vision, innovative thinking, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to feedback are vital.
