Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based solutions. This is a critical, fully remote role where you will work with cutting-edge cloud technologies to drive digital transformation initiatives. You will be instrumental in defining cloud strategy, architecting cloud environments, and guiding development teams to ensure best practices in cloud adoption and management. Your expertise will shape the future of our technology infrastructure, enabling innovation and efficiency across the organization. Responsibilities:
  • Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions leveraging platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Develop and maintain cloud strategy, roadmaps, and best practices.
  • Translate business requirements into technical cloud architectures.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop cost optimization strategies for cloud deployments.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and runbooks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and provide tailored cloud solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years focused on cloud architecture and solutions.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud-native services, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and database technologies in a cloud context.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
