The Mechanical Engineer will support the design review, estimation, and site supervision of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting for various projects. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, the role involves assisting with technical evaluations, preparing documentation, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design review and coordination of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Support estimation and quantity take-offs based on construction drawings and specifications.
- Prepare and review technical submittals, shop drawings, and material approval requests.
- Perform site inspections under supervision to verify installation quality and compliance with design standards.
- Assist in testing and commissioning activities including DALT/TAB coordination.
- Help prepare mechanical BOQs and review vendor/supplier quotations.
