You will be a practitioner on our telehealth platform 'Intellect', where your role is to support our clients' mental health and personal growth based on individual needs and goals. This is delivered primarily through scheduled 30-minute video sessions on our platform.

This is a freelance remote role with the flexibility to decide your business hours. Local candidates are preferred but others can still be considered. This role is a great opportunity to supplement your current job or private practice.

We're seeking to partner with International Coaching Federation (ICF) Coaches, Clinical Psychologists, and counsellors to be part of a community working collaboratively to bring greater mental health access to the public and provide mental health coaching.

• Provide 1-on-1 telehealth professional or mental health coaching for Intellect's clients
• Focus on sub-clinical cases such as work stress, procrastination, work-life balance, etc.
• Support your clients in setting up personal or career goals, relationships, etc.
• Collaborate with the internal clinical team by suggesting improvements to the program and platform

• Have an active International Coaching Federation Certification OR a Master/Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling
• Skilled in coaching techniques and/or evidence-based approaches (e.g., Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, SFBT, etc.)
• ICF Coaches must have at least 200 coaching hours
• Counsellors must have at least 300 clinical hours post-graduation
• Proficient in English and the local language
• Candidates with prior experience in EAP, counselling working with adults, or coaching managerial roles are prioritized

• Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, including diagnostic interviews, cognitive testing, and personality assessments.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy).
• Providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy to diverse patient populations.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborating with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Conducting psychoeducational workshops and support groups for patients and the community.
• Providing clinical supervision and mentorship to junior psychologists and trainees.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other healthcare professionals.
• Offer crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health distress.
• Connect clients with appropriate community resources, support groups, and external agencies.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Advocate for client needs and facilitate access to necessary services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations to ensure coordinated care.
• Stay current with best practices, research, and emerging trends in social work and behavioral health.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of telehealth protocols and service delivery models.

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A valid professional license (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker - LCSW, or equivalent in your jurisdiction if applying from outside Bahrain but working remotely for BH operations).
• Minimum of 5 years of post-master's experience in clinical social work, with a significant focus on behavioral health and mental health counseling.
• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy and support via telehealth or virtual platforms.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and secure communication tools.
• Excellent active listening, empathy, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and MI.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain professional boundaries in a remote setting.
• Adaptability and resilience in responding to the evolving needs of clients and the healthcare landscape.
• A stable internet connection and a private, secure workspace are required.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is highly advantageous.
