The Electrical Engineer supports project delivery through technical coordination, design review, documentation, and quality tracking for electrical systems. This role works closely with Senio engineers, site teams to ensure electrical scope is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with specifications. The position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, documentation, and communication.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing electrical design drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents to ensure alignment with codes and project requirements.
- Support the DOR and Senior Engineers in preparing and updating engineering documents based on site conditions or design changes.
- Participate in technical submittals for review.
- Support the supervision of electrical works during execution, ensuring installations meet quality, design, and safety standards.
- Maintain logs and records of RFIs, submittals, inspections, and daily activities.
- Assist in verifying that materials on site conform to approved specifications and are properly handled/stored.
- Participate in internal and client-facing QC inspections and support meeting documentation.
- Provide assistance during testing and commissioning activities by coordinating with vendors, consultants, and the QCM.
- Assist in preparing Bill of Materials, quantity take-offs, and pricing support for tender packages.
- Support procurement by reviewing vendor offers, collecting technical data sheets, and helping evaluate compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate with site, design, and procurement teams to address daily execution and technical challenges.
Knowledge, Experience, and Special Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and relevant codes and standards
- Strong academic record with solid engineering fundamentals
- 0–3 years of exposure to construction projects (internships count).
- Clear English communication, analytical mindset, and high attention to detail.
