We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with proven debt fund management, banking relations, and financial operations expertise. This role is critical in driving AVANA's mission to deliver exceptional value to our clients, investors, and stakeholders. The candidate will work very closely with CEO and will have the opportunity to take on a global role overseeing all offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with AVANA's mission and goals.
- Oversee debt fund management, structuring, and performance optimization.
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with banks, credit unions, and institutional lenders to obtain competitive financing.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Must have prior experience in creating and monitoring budgets across various business units.
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and learn the Saudi Central Bank's banking standards and financial reporting requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to develop and implement strategies for raising capital from various sources, including banks, lines of credit, and institutional investors in the Middle East and the USA.
- Establish and maintain appropriate fund structures that align with regulatory requirements and investor expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and reporting obligations related to fund operations.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate, credit, and regulatory exposures, and oversee tax strategy.
- Implement robust internal controls and oversee audit processes to ensure the security of company assets.
- Understand private credit and direct lending at their core to effectively negotiate or discuss lines of credit and warehouse lines.
- Mentor and develop the finance team to meet and exceed organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with the CEO and management team to drive long-term growth and profitability.
- Represent the company in investor meetings, board presentations, and stakeholder engagements.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with current and potential investors, prioritizing transparency and trust.
- Oversee timely response to investor inquiries and manage communication regarding portfolio performance, strategy, and compliance updates.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Meet or exceed funding goals for Debt fund and Equity Capital jointly with the CEO
- Establish specific capital raising objectives, such as successfully closing targeted funding rounds within predetermined timelines and the annual establishment and maintenance of new investor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with lender covenants and maintain strong cash flow. Provide timely reporting to the warehouse lender, currently a bank in the USA.
- Increase investor satisfaction and retention rates to over 90% by enhancing online financial reporting.
- Zero significant non-compliance issues during regulatory audits or investor reviews.
- Satisfactory employee engagement and satisfaction score within the finance team. Conducting quarterly training sessions or development initiatives.
- Timely and accurate management reporting for internal and external stakeholders – shareholders, banks, investors and employees.
Qualifications:
- MBA, CA, or CPA; must possess graduate-level education in finance and accounting.
- Fluent in GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles.
- Expertise in debt fund management, capital markets, lending, and portfolio oversight.
- Proven track record of managing banking relationships and negotiating credit facilities.
- Proven track record in raising capital, including experience with debt financing, equity fundraising, and working with institutional investors.
- Hands-on experience setting up fund structures, including SPVs, trusts, and other investment vehicles.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance related to financial services, fund management, and corporate governance in different jurisdictions.
- Experience managing investor relations and leading due diligence processes with private equity firms, venture capitalists, and institutional investors.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
- Candidates must have fluency in English language.
- Candidates with previous experience in the Big 4 accounting firms in audit, tax, or advisory will be preferred.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for the financial leadership, regulatory reporting compliance, and strategic financial planning of Braxtone Group and its subsidiaries. The CFO will ensure the financial health of Braxtone by implementing best practices, optimizing financial operations, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and tax obligations across the UAE, Bahrain, and Oman.

Essential Work Activities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with the Group’s growth objectives and enhances shareholder value.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for all subsidiaries and regulated entities within Braxtone Group.
- Provide strategic financial insights to the Executive Committee, supporting business expansion, M&A opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
- Ensure a strong financial governance framework, reinforcing internal controls and risk management practices.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other applicable financial regulations.
- Manage financial consolidation across all group entities, ensuring seamless reporting and analysis.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, ensuring financial stability and sustainability.
- Implement financial systems and ERP solutions to optimize financial management and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements set by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), and other regulators, where applicable.
- Oversee statutory and regulatory filings for all entities, ensuring timely submissions and adherence to compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and legal advisors to ensure financial transparency and governance.
- Develop and maintain a robust risk management framework, ensuring financial risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated effectively.
- Tax Compliance & Regulatory Filings
- Oversee compliance with all applicable tax regulations across the GCC, including Value-Added Tax (VAT), Corporate Income Tax, and Withholding Taxes.
- Ensure proper tax structuring and optimization to enhance efficiency and mitigate tax liabilities while maintaining full compliance with local and international tax laws.
- Liaise with tax advisors and regulatory authorities to stay updated on tax law changes and implement best practices accordingly.
- Lead the preparation and submission of tax returns and reports, ensuring accuracy and timely compliance.
- Lead finance process automation and digital transformation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement cost control measures to optimize expenses and improve profitability.
- Work closely with business unit heads to align financial processes with operational needs and strategic priorities.
- Investment & Expansion Initiatives
- Support the Executive Committee in evaluating M&A opportunities, investment strategies, and expansion projects.
- Develop financial models for new investments and provide recommendations based on financial viability and risk assessment.
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions to secure funding for strategic initiatives.
- Act as a key advisor to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and regulatory bodies on financial and strategic matters.
- Ensure clear communication with investors, auditors, banks, and key financial stakeholders.
- Oversee the establishment of policies and procedures for corporate governance and financial best practices.
- Lead and mentor Finance teams across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to excel.
- Foster a culture of financial discipline, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Strengthen collaboration between Finance, Operations, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure seamless business execution.
Essential & Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, economics or related field.
- Professional Certifications like CPA, ACCA, CFA, CMA.
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in financial leadership, with at least 5 years as a CFO or Finance Director in insurance of financial services industry.
- Good knowledge insurance brokerage, claims management, loss adjusting, and advisory services
- Regulatory Compliance experience with CBUAE, CBB or other financial regulators.
- Strong expertise in tax compliance, IFRS reporting, and financial governance.

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for developing and executing the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with AVANA's mission and goals. This includes overseeing debt fund management, structuring, and performance optimization, as well as establishing and nurturing robust relationships with banks, credit unions, and institutional lenders to obtain competitive financing.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Strategy: Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with AVANA's mission and goals.
- Debt Fund Management: Oversee debt fund management, structuring, and performance optimization.
- Banking Relations: Establish and nurture robust relationships with banks, credit unions, and institutional lenders to obtain competitive financing.
- Financial Planning: Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Must have prior experience in creating and monitoring budgets across various business units.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and learn the Saudi Central Bank's banking standards and financial reporting requirements.
- Capital Raising: Work collaboratively with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to develop and implement strategies for raising capital from various sources, including banks, lines of credit, and institutional investors in the Middle East and the USA.
- Fund Structures: Establish and maintain appropriate fund structures that align with regulatory requirements and investor expectations.
- Risk Management: Monitor and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate, credit, and regulatory exposures, and oversee tax strategy.
- Internal Controls: Implement robust internal controls and oversee audit processes to ensure the security of company assets.
- Leadership: Mentor and develop the finance team to meet and exceed organizational objectives.
- MBA, CA, or CPA; must possess graduate-level education in finance and accounting.
- Fluent in GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles.
- Expertise in debt fund management, capital markets, lending, and portfolio oversight.
- Proven track record of managing banking relationships and negotiating credit facilities.
- Proven track record in raising capital, including experience with debt financing, equity fundraising, and working with institutional investors.
- Hands-on experience setting up fund structures, including SPVs, trusts, and other investment vehicles.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance related to financial services, fund management, and corporate governance in different jurisdictions.
- Experience managing investor relations and leading due diligence processes with private equity firms, venture capitalists, and institutional investors.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
- Candidates must have fluency in English language.
- Candidates with previous experience in the Big 4 accounting firms in audit, tax, or advisory will be preferred.

As the Senior Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in enabling digital transformation and decarbonization of the industrial sectors through KBC’s advanced simulation, analytics, and cloud-based technologies. Your focus will be on the Middle East markets, developing and executing account strategies, coordinating internal teams, and ensuring the achievement of sales and commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by aligning company objectives with customer strategies through effective account plan management.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets (monthly/quarterly/yearly) to ensure consistent growth.
- Maintain a sales pipeline of at least 3x the target to support sustainable revenue.
- Balance technology and consulting sales in line with corporate sales objectives.
- Ensure CRM data accuracy, including opportunity records and account plans, to support transparency and decision-making.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans for existing clients, focusing on expansion and revenue retention.
- Coordinate internal resources to align solutions with client needs and reduce the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with product managers to identify and develop new client opportunities.
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and client-specific literature.
- Engage with senior stakeholders within existing accounts to identify new value opportunities.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Process, Chemical Engineering, or relevant engineering fields.
- Proven success in selling industrial software, ideally related to process simulation, energy management, and digitalization.
- Experience managing senior relationships within enterprise accounts.
- Knowledge of cultural, economic, and legal differences across the Middle East region.
- Ability to translate technical offerings into high-level business outcomes.
- Skilled in managing long sales cycles, opportunity management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, and well-networked self-starter.
