Job Description

A Housekeeping Attendant will support all Housekeeping and Laundry requests from guests by analyzing each request and delegating tasks among team members to ensure efficient and timely service, providing an exceptional experience for our guests.

What will I be doing?

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will support all aspects of the Housekeeping and Laundry teams by delegating daily activities within the hotel. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining high standards in Housekeeping and Laundry, aligned with hotel brand standards.
  • Monitoring the appearance, standards, and performance of team members, emphasizing training and teamwork.
  • Providing excellent guest service.
  • Managing room availability and release in coordination with Floor Housekeeping Supervision.
  • Controlling department operations, including employee scheduling, master key management, incident reporting, and linen and uniform handling.
  • Checking guest information in CRM daily to meet preferences and requests promptly.
  • Requesting flowers for special occasions and providing embroidered linen for events like weddings.
  • Managing monthly Lost and Found items and donations.
  • Checking and coordinating laundry uniforms for cleaning or repair.
  • Controlling document and personnel movement within the department, including daily linen releases and laundry operations.
  • Processing daily guest clothing releases for laundry service.
  • Closing monthly laundry expenses and supplies.
  • Replacing the Laundry Attendant during holidays, days off, or absences.

Main Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned areas including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas

Job Description

  • All the assigned villas must be cleaned as per housekeeping standard
  • Ensure that our Accor Hotel’s values are being practiced/demonstrated in our daily interactions with our colleagues and external guests.
  • Ensure to keep professional and amicable interactions with all the departments in the resort and to each individual regardless of their job levels.
  • Ensure that all maintenance issues raised daily (work orders) and liaise with Housekeeping supervisor to make sure the requested jobs are attended put the resort standard.
  • Follow-up any pending maintenance issues from engineering department not exceeding a day.
  • Communicate with Housekeeping coordinator or supervisor regarding the status of the villas at all times.
  • All the vacant villa must keep vacant clean inspect status throughout the day .
  • Ensure the cleanliness of guest villas and public areas are uttermost important and this is 100% responsibility of housekeeping team.
  • Understand daily movements, schedule tasks, events and special requests.
  • Ensure all the guest requests and preferences are attended within 10 minutes without any delay.
  • Understand the operational demands, urgencies and priorities while working on villa attendant shift.
  • Maintain quality and the standard of the housekeeping service at all time without compromising.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as housekeeping attendant.
  • Writing, reading & oral proficiency in the English language
  • Must be well presented and professionally groomed at all times
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
