• Develop and maintain automated security controls and deployment pipelines (CI/CD security).
• Respond to security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Monitor cloud environments for security threats and anomalies, and provide timely alerts and reports.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training to technical staff.
• Stay current with emerging cloud security threats, technologies, and best practices.
• Contribute to the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans from a security perspective.
• Automate security tasks and processes where possible to enhance efficiency and reduce human error.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cloud security engineering.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including their security services.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and technologies (e.g., IAM, encryption, network security, threat modeling).
• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and implementing security within DevOps pipelines.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements and security best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or cloud-specific security certifications are highly valued.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative team environment.
