Network Security Engineer

Experience: 4-12 Years
Job Summary: Network Security Engineer role is primarily responsible for Design & Implement Security services within client infrastructure and Maintaining the complete record of project related documentation and correspondence. This role requires in-depth knowledge of information security and IT operations supporting enterprise class Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Security products and F5 Load Balancer. Experience with driving the design, development, and deployment efforts related to security projects as well as day-to-day security practices
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the research, analysis, design, testing, and implementation of enterprise security engineering solutions to meet Client’s business requirements
Creating basis of design, HLD (high level design), LLD (low level design), implementation plan and NRFU (network ready for use)
Participate in the evaluation, development, implementation, and communication of security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse systems environments
Worked on Email Security
Act as a security expert resource (SME) to clients, internal teams in all phases of the development and implementation of projects
Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and mitigate host, network and design vulnerabilities and provide metrics for reporting
Provide technical assistance in validation and evaluation of security alerts or incidents as well as perform security risk analysis, architectural reviews and provide security advisory service
Carrying out scope of work assessment and formulating execution plan as per the project requirements
Coordination with various international partners and local suppliers/sub-contractors for outsourced deliverables
Demonstrated experience in load balancer administration using, F5-Big IP: AFM/APM (Access Policy Manager), LTM (Local Traffic Manager/proxy/load balancer), DNS/GTM (Global Traffic Manager), required.
Should have hands-on Implementation and troubleshooting issues related to Security profile, HIP check, Application override, UID, URL filtering, Content ID, Wildfire, and other next-generation features on Palo Alto firewalls.
Key Competencies and Skills: Degree in computer science, engineering disciplines or equivalent technical certification or experience
Strong understanding and experience in managing network security architecture in a Cisco environment
Ability to rapidly learn and apply advanced and emerging technical security principles, theories, and concepts.
Interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate effectively, self-awareness, and excellent written and oral communications.
Required Skills: Self-driven, time management, multi-tasking, effective communication, Should have worked on various Cisco products
Good Communication skills

Manage and troubleshoot network switching and routing using GUI and CLI.

Manage and troubleshoot corporate WIFI.

Perform Network Operations, administration, and monitoring (NOC).

Excellent understanding of UTP/STP, Single mode and Multi-mode fiber optic cable (SMF/MMF).

Understanding of MPLS, Microwave, SD-WAN, and internet technologies.

Candidate with a valid Bahraini Driving license preferred.

14. Implementing security devices and applications to monitor and reviewing network, servers, and applications to ensure adherence to central information security guidelines.
15. Contributing to the implementation of an effective and robust control, backup, virus defense and security systems to safeguard and protect all network operations and ensure the reliability and integrity of data.
16. Running different types of utilities ensuring network security from viruses and hackers in accord with established policies and procedures.
