Job Description
A leading Real Estate Developer & Property Management Company in Bahrain seeks to employ a Construction Manager for various projects.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project plans, specifications, and budgets are met.
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day construction activities on assigned projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software.
- Manage and monitor project budgets, identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns.
- Supervise and lead construction crews, ensuring efficient and safe work practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and ensure quality control.
- Process and manage all change orders and variations to the original construction plans.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations on the construction site.
- Manage the procurement and logistics of materials and equipment to ensure timely delivery and availability.
- Address any construction issues or unforeseen challenges that may arise, developing and implementing solutions to keep the project on track.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in A or B grade construction companies.
- Ability to establish a new department or company with comprehensive knowledge.
- Knowledge of technical, financial, and administrative aspects is mandatory.
- Must have a construction background, not from a consultancy background.
- Experience managing multiple projects, including large High Rise & Villa developments.
- Experience handling not less than 300 employees.
- Strong leadership character and personality to manage entire operations.
- Valid driver's license.
