A leading Real Estate Developer & Property Management Company in Bahrain seeks to employ a Construction Manager for various projects.

Job Description:

  1. Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project plans, specifications, and budgets are met.
  2. Oversee and manage the day-to-day construction activities on assigned projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  3. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software.
  4. Manage and monitor project budgets, identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns.
  5. Supervise and lead construction crews, ensuring efficient and safe work practices.
  6. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and ensure quality control.
  7. Process and manage all change orders and variations to the original construction plans.
  8. Ensure clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
  10. Implement and enforce all safety regulations on the construction site.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Experience working in A or B grade construction companies.
  4. Ability to establish a new department or company with comprehensive knowledge.
  5. Knowledge of technical, financial, and administrative aspects is mandatory.
  6. Must have a construction background, not from a consultancy background.
  7. Experience managing multiple projects, including large High Rise & Villa developments.
  8. Experience handling not less than 300 employees.
  9. Strong leadership character and personality to manage entire operations.
  10. Valid driver's license.
