The ideal candidate for this role will have good English communication skills, both written and verbal. About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Supervising & delegating carpentry assignments to the team.
- Conducting regular site inspections.

- Preparing prevention maintenance schedules.
- Assigning workforce to different locations based on workload & criticality.
- Supervising the shifting of jobs at various facilities.
- Monitoring & maintaining the quality of work assigned to the team.

We are seeking a talented and experienced CAD Technician to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. As a CAD Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our design and engineering projects by producing accurate and high-quality drawings and models using computer-aided design software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare drawings in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, REVIT or associated programs based on direction and design provided by landscape architects.
- Prepare detailed drawings, in CAD, REVIT or associated programs, of proposed plans, facilities and infrastructures, prints of various original plans and records for internal and external company use.
- Produce drawings for land development projects, base plans and detailed drawings for landscape projects as required.
- Work as a team member to coordinate design projects with urban designers, architects, landscape architects, engineers and other CAD technicians.
- Utilize customized tools, utilities and scripts to automate work processes and improve AutoCAD productivity and efficiency in compliance with the company CAD standards.
- Collaboration and working as part of a team. (Work in conjunction with engineers to solve project design problems, performing basic design calculations as required. Conduct technical, feasibility studies and site investigations. Liaison with teams working remotely from other parts of the world to facilitate completion of tasks, and project. Good communicator.)
- Client Service Management (Internal and external client liaison, Ability to build and maintain lasting and positive relationship. Experience in utility diversions and management)
- Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner. (Complete all work in line with MWH Core Values and in accordance with the MWH Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures. Design for safety, i.e. Construction Design Management.)
- Other duties as requested from time to time by the Resident Engineer.
Qualifications
- Degree from a recognized institute.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
- Must have wet utilities experience and have experience in Civils 3D.
- Experience in using Revit will be a bonus.
- Excellent command of English both written and spoken.

**Quantity Surveyor**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Quantity Surveyor** to join our team! The Quantity Surveyor will be providing all necessary assistance to the construction supervision team concerning all financial aspects and contractual matters in the project. Will participate in the review and approval of interim payments, project variations and other financial matters. The Quantity Surveyor will assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in the analysis and evaluation of all contractor claims by the contractor and other contractual matters.
**What you'll be doing:**
+ Assist the SQS in all matters relating to the financial and contractual aspects of the project.
+ Participate, record and assist in the preparation of the minutes of the progress meetings.
+ Provide support to the SQS on all financial and contractual matters throughout the course of the work in the project.
+ Participate in all commercial meetings.
+ Liaise with the SQS to ensure prompt submittal and completeness of Contractors monthly payment applications and assist the SQS in finalizing the payment certificates.
+ Maintain and streamline all cost and quantity records.
+ Advise the SRE and REs on measurement procedures and calculation of interim and final quantities.
+ Evaluate the unit rates for new work items and present to the SQS for review.
+ Participate in recording the details and monitor the day works recording and process.
+ Assist the SQS in the preparation of variation orders.
+ Participate in the Evaluate contractual claims for review by the SQS.
+ Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of entitlement of Contractors claims for review and issuance by the SQS.
+ Advice on contractual matters related to financial issues.
+ Ensure completeness and validity of all contractual requirements.
+ Monitor the contractor's resource allocation.
+ Assist the SQS in the preparation of financial statements for monthly report.
+ Partake in the auditing of payments to Contractors.
+ Check and record measurements of completed work.
+ Monitor contracts final cost estimates.
+ Assist the SQS in the review, negotiation and preparation of claim settlements with the Contract's Department of Client and the Engineer (PMC).
+ Participate in the preparation of Final Accounts with all supporting documentation.
**What required skills you'll bring:**
+ Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
+ 12 years demonstrable experience in Quantity Surveying on major road, highway and general infrastructure construction projects preferably in the Gulf region.
+ Experience in the planning or major projects with particular emphasis on the utilization of computer programs such as Primavera or equally capable program for the planning and tracking of similar projects is a requirement. Will provide assistance to the team during negotiations, arbitration, or any other forms of dispute resolution.
+ Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.
+ Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
