Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:The Technician's core functions are to monitor the systems in the ECC, communicate with stakeholders, coordinate daily technical issues, and follow up on queries and requests that have been raised, not limiting their scope to only issues relating to maintenance but matters regarding rectification and problem solving.
Technicians will receive queries via different modes of communication or in person, for all maintenance matters and faults in the entire airport terminal and airport premises from various stakeholders regarding potential faults and technical matters that need immediate attention.
All requests and reported incidents captured by the technician will be managed directly by them through Maximo, which will thereafter be assigned to FM's relevant maintenance team for their necessary assessment, action, and rectification works. Subsequently, the team will follow up on the incidents to ensure matters are adhered to and closed in a timely manner.
Preparing daily and monthly major reports.
This position will be monitoring the incidents logged in the MAXIMO system throughout its lifecycle from start to completion.
JOB MAIN TASK:- Logs all incidents into MAXIMO irrespective of the source (calls, emails, BMS, etc.) following the given procedures for call logging (log basic information, pre-classify, prequalify and prioritize incident).
- Horizontal - Vertical Transport System (HVTS) - Monitor and observe system health, faults and indicated issues and ensure that the relevant issue is recorded and will be attended to, and respond to emergency intercom alarms.
- Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) - Monitor and observe system health, faults and indicated issues and ensure that the relevant issue is recorded and will be attended to.
- Passenger Loading Bridge (PLB) System - Monitor and observe system health, faults and indicated issues and ensure that the relevant issue is recorded and will be attended to.
- Closed-circuit television (CCTV) System - Monitor and observe assets to be safe for operational use and working environment.
- Fire Alarm System (FAS) - Monitor Fire Alarm System health check, faults, potential false alarms and actual triggers.
- Building Management System (BMS) - Monitor Building Management System in terms of lighting, elevators, escalators, travellators, chillers, AHU's, etc. and highlight any faults observed and follow up on maintenance requirements.
- Lighting Control Management System (LCMS) - Control, monitor and observe system performance, faults and indicated issues.
- Emergency Central Battery System (ECBS) - Monitor and observe system faults and indicated issues and report any faults observed.
- Emergency Call Out Procedure facilitator - Ensures that the relevant individuals and stakeholders are aware of any emergency scenarios that have occurred at the airport and to ensure that the call-out procedure is actioned accordingly.
Minimum Qualification: Higher national diploma (HND) or institute certificate, preferably in Engineering with at least 2 years experience or working within an Airport or a Maintenance Department.
Minimum Experience: At least two years of experience in a similar position.
