You will be exposed to all facets of professional kitchen operations, from mise en place and food preparation to plating and understanding various cooking techniques. - Assist senior chefs in the preparation and execution of various dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.

- Participate in menu development discussions and contribute creative ideas.
- Manage mise en place efficiently for assigned stations.

- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating food supplies.
- Learn about different cuisines and culinary styles.
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all food items leaving the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.
- Support the kitchen team during service periods and assist in any area as directed by the Head Chef.
- Follow all health and safety regulations as per local food safety standards.
- Develop an understanding of cost control and waste reduction techniques.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to learning and professional development within the culinary arts.
- Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff as skills progress.
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment (e.g., cook, kitchen assistant) is highly preferred.
