Our client, a leading multinational Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company, is seeking an accomplished and strategic Sales & Distribution Manager. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market reach, and optimizing distribution channels across the Bahraini market. The position requires a proven leader with extensive experience in the FMCG sector and a deep understanding of local market dynamics. The role is primarily based at their regional office in Shakhura, Northern, BH , with significant travel across the country.

Role Summary:
The Sales & Distribution Manager will lead the sales team, develop effective sales strategies, and manage the entire distribution network to ensure product availability and market penetration. This role is crucial for achieving sales targets, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities in a highly competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and distribution strategies aligned with company objectives and market potential.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team, setting clear targets, providing coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and penetrate new market segments.
  • Manage relationships with key distributors, retailers, and other channel partners, ensuring strong collaboration and mutual growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Oversee inventory management and logistics to ensure efficient product flow from warehouse to point of sale.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and agreements with major clients and distributors to maximize profitability and market share.
  • Analyze sales data, prepare detailed sales forecasts, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  • Ensure effective execution of trade marketing activities and promotional campaigns across all distribution channels.
  • Implement and enforce company sales policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Resolve complex customer and channel partner issues promptly and effectively.
  • Participate in product launches, marketing events, and trade shows to promote brands.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements relevant to FMCG sales and distribution in Bahrain.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in sales and distribution within the FMCG industry, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Strong understanding of Bahrain's retail landscape, consumer behavior, and distribution channels.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales force automation (SFA) and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of data-driven decision making and strategic planning.
  • Ability to travel extensively within Bahrain.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.

The Country Manager will have the responsibility to manage the daily operations, as well as the execution of the Company's strategy, and the achievements of the Company’s objectives and deliverables in Bahrain.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Setting up and expanding Logicom's footprint/ operations in Bahrain in line with the Company’s objectives, standards and guidelines, with the support and guidance of the Executive Management Team and/ or other appointed Executive(s).
  • Building, enabling and retaining the Team by employing the appropriate, skilled and competent resources in the right roles and positions.
  • Overseeing the implementation and achievement of the corporate business objectives and strategies.
  • Assuming complete ownership and delivery of the Company’s P&L budget.
  • Ensuring the sound financial performance of the Company.
  • Developing and maintaining solid/ successful working relationships with key stakeholders, including Customers, Channel Partners and Vendors.
  • Acting as the main ambassador of Logicom in the country, safeguarding and promoting its reputation in the market.
  • Assuming the overall responsibility for the operational functioning of the Company.
  • Ensuring Compliance and Governance policies as well as those of the Suppliers, are always adhered to.
  • Continuously taking applicable measures to ensure the Company is in a leading market share position.
  • Driving high performance through leadership and continuous Team/ Staff inspiration and motivation.
  • Overseeing the deployment and execution of the Company’s policies locally, through coordination within the different divisions, in liaison with the relevant HQ Teams whenever applicable.
  • Leading and orchestrating the activities both with internal (Sales, Product and Marketing Teams) and external (Partners and Vendors) stakeholders to design and implement effective and sophisticated marketing and sales strategies and plans to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Assuming the overall responsibility of account receivables (AR), maintaining healthy DSO and WoS.

Skills & Qualifications

The successful candidate will be a dedicated and driven individual with a proven track record in corporate/ business leadership and achievement in the relevant market/ geography, and is expected to meet the following requirement:

  • Over 10 years’ experience in the ICT industry, of which at least 5 years covering the Bahrain market/ ecosystem.
  • Over 5 years’ experience in managerial and leadership position.
  • Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Technology or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree or other post-secondary degrees will be a plus.
  • Ability to own, understand and manage complete P&L statement.
  • In-depth understanding of the following business areas: Accounting and Finance, Sales and Marketing, Operations and HR.
  • Broad understanding of Technology products and solutions, and Technology solutions delivery.
  • Experience in managing large scale, diversified channel ecosystems, that could exceed a hundred Customers.
  • Capacity to operate in a fast paced, complex and challenging business environment.
  • Experience and track record in managing multi-cultural Teams and Individuals.
  • Robust knowledge and understanding of Compliance and Corporate governance.
  • Strong and clear ability to build, present and execute on strategic business planning, both with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and managing people skills.
  • Capacity to successfully identify and resolve challenges and problems.
  • Arabic as the native language and fluency in English will be a prerequisite.

Since 2017, KBR has provided multi-site BOS services to NSA Bahrain, which includes dining facility services that have produced more than 1.3 million meals and operations and maintenance of more than 220 facilities, some of which require 24/7 uninterrupted services due to being mission critical.

Job Summary

Monitors and maintains the amount of fuel in the tanks for fuel operations. Performs usage calculations and requests service time and amount for tank filling. Prepares and checks receiving/shipping documents and fuel accountability paperwork. Visually, inspects samples of fuel, checks API and fuel additives with test equipment. Gauges tanks for water, temperature, and fuel levels. Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on terminal system and fuel equipment.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain gasoline and diesel bulk fuel storage systems including tanks, pumps, filters, valves, and pipelines.
  • Operate retail fuel dispensers and related equipment.
  • Distribute fuel to Navy boats, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Receive and offload fuel deliveries via tanker trucks or pipeline connections.
  • Perform daily inspections of tanks, pumps, and associated equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Conduct fuel quality control testing (API gravity, water content, etc.) and maintain quality assurance records.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies through metering and documentation.
  • Implement spill prevention, containment, and response procedures in compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with fuel truck drivers and on-site personnel to support fueling logistics and scheduling.
  • Assist in routine maintenance and cleaning of tanks, sumps, and related systems.
  • Prepare and submit operational logs, inspection checklists, and incident reports.
  • Ensure compliance regulations and safety requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a HAZWOPER-40 or have the ability to obtain one.
  • Typically requires 2-5 years of related experience.
  • Must be United States Citizen
  • Must possess a United States issued passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
  • Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with multiple interruptions/distractions.
  • Excellent customer relations, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders is essential

  • Operate retail fuel dispensers and related equipment.

  • Receive and offload fuel deliveries via tanker trucks or pipeline connections.
  • Perform daily inspections of tanks, pumps, and associated equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Conduct fuel quality control testing (API gravity, water content, etc.) and maintain quality assurance records.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies through metering and documentation.
  • Implement spill prevention, containment, and response procedures in compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with fuel truck drivers and on-site personnel to support fueling logistics and scheduling.
  • Assist in routine maintenance and cleaning of tanks, sumps, and related systems.
  • Prepare and submit operational logs, inspection checklists, and incident reports.
  • Ensure compliance regulations and safety requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a HAZWOPER-40 or have the ability to obtain one.
  • Typically requires 2-5 years of related experience.
  • Must be United States Citizen
  • Must possess a United States issued passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
  • Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with multiple interruptions/distractions.
  • Excellent customer relations, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders is essential

Program Summary
