Job PurposeEnabling the success of students to reach their potential through the implementation of the extracurricular SABIS curriculum and through the consistent use of the SABIS teaching methodology.
Key Responsibilities- Completing all lesson plans and maintaining daily reflection of the lessons. Plans and evaluations will be reviewed by the HOD.
- Teaching lessons according to the SABIS Physical Education Curriculum. Developing and implementing drills and activities as per the SABIS Point System.
- Training students for competitions, including development of written practice plans, performance tracking, and departmental reports.
- Attending and judging competitions between SABIS schools.
- Attending and judging Saturday activities as scheduled on campus.
- Taking care of equipment, including organization, set-up, and pick-up.
- Completing required documentation for students in training (including accident forms, SLO record charts, etc.).
- Maintaining effective classroom discipline and reporting infractions to the Supervisor/Head Supervisor; following up with written incident reports if necessary.
- Remaining actively involved in extra-curricular activities.
- Maintaining an updated lifesaving certificate to be able to teach swimming.
- Assisting students in developing an active lifestyle.
- Meeting weekly with the Head of the Department to discuss issues and concerns.
- Bachelor degree in a related subject matter and/or equivalent

Job Purpose

Role Overview:
The Education & Operations Director is responsible for the overall academic and non-academic operations of an up and coming Academy- first of its kind, ensuring seamless delivery of the unique Learning System while managing the school's infrastructure, IT systems, HR, compliance, and daily operations. This role acts as the bridge between academics, administration, and governance, ensuring excellence in both teaching and organisational management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic Operations (With assistance from Academic Program Director)
- Oversee the implementation of the learning system
- Oversee curriculum mapping to the British Curriculum and Bahrain MOE requirements.
- Monitor teaching quality, timetables, and learner progress via AI dashboards and assessment data.
- Support academics with resources and training.
2. Operational Management
- Supervise IT systems (Google Drive, LMS, dashboards, security) and ensure effective use across the academy.
- Oversee facilities, logistics, scheduling, transport, and procurement.
- Manage HR processes (recruitment, contracts, performance reviews, staff onboarding).
- Maintain alignment between operational systems and academic delivery.
3. Compliance & Safeguarding
- Ensure adherence to MOE standards, child safeguarding protocols, and international best practices.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Officer / MLRO on financial, corporate, and regulatory obligations.
- Implement and review policies for data protection, health & safety, and staff conduct.
4. Leadership & Staff Development
- Lead, coach, and evaluate academic and support staff.
- Plan and deliver CPD (Continuous Professional Development) aligned with the Learning System.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
5. Finance & Reporting
- Work with finance teams to manage budgets, operational costs, and resource allocation.
- Provide regular performance and compliance reports to the Board of Governors.
- Support sustainable growth through efficient operations and academic excellence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 7–10 years in school leadership / operations management.
- Knowledge of the British Curriculum + Bahrain MOE standards.
- Strong understanding of IT systems (Google Workspace, MIS/LMS, data dashboards).
- Proven ability to balance academic excellence with operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Summary - This is a contingent Opportunity and would begin work upon the contract award.
The Education Services Facilitators are non-clinical personnel who provide classroom training, workshops and seminars by delivering quality of life programming to service members and their families. They also provide information and referral and one-on-one assistance to clients across a broad spectrum of quality-of-life programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop training based on needs identified through program evaluation, needs assessment feedback, and survey data

- Market programs
- Provide public awareness campaigns and programs offered in support of National Child Abuse Prevention and National Domestic Violence Awareness Months and other awareness themed months
- If responsible for family violence prevention, ensure that family violence prevention and education programs are provided with sufficient frequency to ensure that all of the following groups are trained: COs, XOs, Family Advocacy Program (FAP) Command POCs, senior enlisted personnel, Case Review Committee (CRC), Service members, chaplains, child care and youth activities staff, installation law enforcement, and medical staff. Ensure that FAP awareness and prevention education briefs and workshops shall include, at a minimum, the dynamics of child and domestic abuse, reporting requirements, the FAP, victim sensitivity and support, and the importance of community coordination
- Conduct education and training programs
- Train and oversee other staff members in education and training program delivery
- Ensure all information and referral and awareness and prevention education services are entered and counted in Fleet and Family Support Management Information System (FFSMIS)
- Ensure all prevention education services are accounted for and entered in the automated Centralized Scheduling and Metrics system in use by the FFSP

Required Education and/or Experience Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in adult education, social science, or related behavioral science field OR a combination of college education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree OR four years' equivalent experience.
- Two years' experience in training development and review, public speaking, and group presentation and facilitation skills
