We are excited to offer a comprehensive internship opportunity for an aspiring Graduate Environmental Scientist to join our fully remote team. This role provides invaluable hands-on experience in a variety of environmental projects, including impact assessments, carbon footprint analysis, waste management strategies, and sustainability reporting. You will work closely with experienced consultants, contributing to client projects and gaining practical knowledge in environmental science and sustainability consulting, all from the convenience of your home office.

- Assist senior consultants in conducting environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for various projects.
- Support the data collection, analysis, and interpretation for carbon footprint calculations and greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories.

- Contribute to sustainability reporting efforts, including ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting frameworks.
- Conduct research on environmental regulations, best practices, and emerging sustainability trends.
- Assist in site investigations and data gathering for environmental due diligence projects.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other project deliverables under supervision.
- Collaborate with team members on developing solutions for environmental challenges faced by clients.
- Maintain organized project documentation and databases.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
- Learn and apply company methodologies and tools for environmental assessment and consulting.
- Support the development of proposals and marketing materials for new client engagements.

Qualifications:

- Excellent research and report writing skills.
- Familiarity with environmental assessment methodologies is a plus.
- Good command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Must have reliable internet access and a suitable home office environment for remote work.
