Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and post accounts receivable transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.
  • To assist the Team Leader Accounts Payable and Finance Manager, in efficient and timely collection of Payables, by providing a reliable and accurate documentation and record keeping.
  • Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.
  • Coordinate and perform accounting tasks in maintaining financial records of accounts receivable and delinquent accounts.

People Management

  • Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, and guest service.
  • Respond to queries, by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Financial Management

  • Identify optimal, cost effective use of the resources.

Operational Management

  • Supervise, coordinate and participate in accounting tasks to settle guest accounts receivable in accordance to the credit policy.
  • Assist in approving various transactions including refunds, ability-to-pay allowances, discounts and write-offs.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis, setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all finance and accounting operations for the Kuwait entity.

  • Proven knowledge of Kuwait CMA laws , regulatory requirements, and financial reporting obligations.

The Role Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Attracting new clients involved in international trade, such as exporters and importers, by offering trade finance services like Letters of Credit (LC), Stand-by Letters of Credit (SBLC), and Bank Guarantees (BG) necessary for global trade.
  • Identifying opportunities and generating sales leads from your country of residence.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships and assisting with client verification procedures.
  • Reviewing client information for compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) regulations.

  • Freelance basis only (this is not a permanent position).

Ideal Profile Skills Required
  • At least 1 year of experience in financial consultation, corporate advisory, banking, or related sectors.
  • Proven success in sales and lead generation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of KYC, AML, and PEPs is advantageous.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and diligence.
  • Reliable internet connection, a mobile phone, and a PC with webcam capabilities.
