Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and certified MHE and Vehicle Mechanic to support our maintenance operations. This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of vehicles and material handling equipment, including forklifts, loaders, trucks, and other heavy machinery. The mechanic will work closely with the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities
+ Perform routine and emergency maintenance on vehicles and MHE.
+ Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and execute repairs.
+ Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule daily fleet operations, including driver assignments and route planning.
- Monitor and track shipments in real-time to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, fuel consumption, and operational costs.
- Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal departments to resolve logistical issues.
- Optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce transit times.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation laws and regulations.
- Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, delivery metrics, and operational efficiency.
