Our client, a prominent facilities management provider in Bahrain, is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Sanitation and Hygiene Manager to oversee all cleaning and sanitation operations within their portfolio of high-profile commercial properties located in
Riffa, Southern, BH . This critical role involves developing, implementing, and enforcing stringent hygiene protocols, ensuring compliance with all local and international health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will lead a diverse team of cleaning staff, providing training, motivation, and performance management to maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and public health.
Key responsibilities include conducting regular site inspections, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to address any hygiene lapses. You will be responsible for managing inventory and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and sustainability. The Senior Sanitation and Hygiene Manager will also play a crucial role in crisis management, particularly concerning outbreaks of infectious diseases, by developing and executing rapid response plans. This position requires a proactive approach to risk assessment and the ability to foster a strong safety culture across all operational sites. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in large-scale sanitation management, preferably within the hospitality, healthcare, or commercial property sectors. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cleaning and sanitation management.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing hygiene management systems.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
