This is role is only freelance - no visa provided.
You should meet all these requirements:
- A food safety auditor must have a solid understanding of the basic principles and concepts of food safety, such as hazard analysis, critical control points, preventive controls, foodborne illnesses, and food defense.
- Knowledge of local and international food safety regulations
- Auditors should be skilled in evaluating processes, identifying non-compliance issues, and providing recommendations to improve food safety practices.
- Auditors should be familiar with various food processing methods, facility layouts, equipment, and hygiene practices to accurately assess compliance.
- Auditors must be capable of spotting even minor deviations from established standards.
- Education and certification - A food safety auditor typically has a bachelor's degree or higher in food science, microbiology, nutrition, or a related field. Eg. HACCP, ISO 22000 Lead Auditor certification, FSSC
